Infograph project
I thought it would be cool to find different bottles of wine from some of the best-known wine regions around the world and make a quick list of three for each. By having four rows with three bottles of wine in each row, I was able to add an element of repetition and structure. Having unique bottles in each space added the character and complexity I was looking for. I tried to stay with an earth tone theme throughout which meant I had to lower the opacity on some of the more sharply colored background elements like the flags. One other note on the bottles is that once I found individual bottles, there was less need for a lot of text. I decided the name of the winery, type of wine and price was sufficient. I found a paining of Dionysus, the god of wine, and decided to photoshop him in, which is where I got the name for ,y project.
