Esther Castillo's Infographic

My Infographic is about the trans fat ban in Philadelphia.

Philadelphia wants to become the second city that bans trans fat in all local restaurants, (the first one's New York City), prohibiting them from frying food in trans fat or serving any trans fat based food starting from September 2008.

Yet there's no penalties attached to the ban.

I found the story interesting because it's related to Philly. Plus I think it's not difficult to convey the idea visually. Elements (fries, burger, cookies, etc.) that I can put into the piece would be interesting too.

My infographic is neither a chart nor a table. I intended to use the infographic as a narrative. The ban sign on a cup with oil obtained from fast food symbolizes a ban on trans fat. It also serves to tell the audience in what type of food trans fat can be found. The skyline of Philadelphia symbolizes that it takes place in Philadelphia. The question marks in the background questions whether the ban works as there's no penalties.
