My infographic advertises the upcoming final match of the Davis Cup, a season-long tennis tournament that pits countries across the world against one another. This year, the final will be held in November in Portland, Oregon, where the U.S. team will host Russia. I wanted my infographic to emphasize the individual nature of tennis, even in a team-oriented competition like the Davis Cup. Most of the visual elements I used are fairly straightforward and common for the game of tennis, such as the tennis balls and the court. I also made rosters for each team in long columns to underscore the head-to-head competition these two countries will engage in. The names of each country and their flags appear atop the two columns to reiterate the patriotic aspects of the Davis Cup.
